Parker and mom sitting poolside

Parker and mom sitting poolside

Parker arrived in our program in dreadful condition.  We believe he was an outcast from a mill situation that closed down.  Young Parker had never experienced life outside his kennel and because he was used solely as a breeder his skills with other dogs were not very good.  He also had a large tumor on his hindquarters, was in very poor condition had parasites.  One of our former adopters followed Parkers story for quite some time and truly wanted this boy to become her own even with all the issues we were experiencing.  Lots of time went in to this young boy.  Without the extreme patience of his mom, the help of a wonderful trainer Parker may not have come near as far as he has.  As you can see he is living the good life and much adored by his family.

Jerry

Sunday, March 15th, 2009

JerryJerry is a lovely near 2 yr. old boy who was perfect in every way.  He has the best attitude, loves to please and gets along with everyone he meets.  He was lucky to meet a new mom who is looking forward to train him in several different venues.  He also has his own golf cart to cruise around his lovely farm.  His new mom is “dancing in the clouds” about her new pal.  I think they will have a very exciting future together.

JackI think Jack is enjoying his new life with his dad.  He has a wonderful bandana that he was graced with at his foster home.  He is seeing many new sites and enjoying being king.  He is one lucky fellow to have someone so adoring of him.

Rumba and family

Dear Rumba was a breeder girl who rarely shared a life with her people.  When she arrived in rescue we learned that she was pregnant.  Bless her heart she was full of parasites including heartworms.  She had six lovely bouncing and healthy pups who have all been adopted.  She is now the shining star in her new home where she is treated like a queen!

Skippy and his new pals

Skippy is experiencing is first romp in the snow.  He is having so much fun with his new family and has wormed his way into their hearts quickly.  While we rarely adopt dogs outside of our state Skippy was lucky enough to have a former adopter contact us when they lost their old corgi girl.  We love our former adopters and were happy to let Skippy go play in the snow.
